Haven of Hope pays homage to the joint effort of the aquarium industry and environmental organizations coming together to create hope for a more sustainable future for our native coral reef ecosystems. Painted by wildlife artist and educator Kelly Quinn during the Waterbox Aquarium Family Reunion event in 2020, the piece focuses on three endangered stony coral species found on the Florida coral reef tract.
The Staghorn coral, Pillar coral, and Brain coral have nearly gone extinct in the wild, with fewer than 5% remaining on the 350 miles of reef that once flourished off Florida’s Atlantic coast through the dry Tortugas. 100% of the profits of this limited edition print will benefit the Coral Restoration Foundation and their efforts to protect and restore the corals on Florida’s reef.
