Defective.

From new my Nero 3 has been malfunctioning. Anytime the pump is paused it locked up. I have to take it out and rotate the blades to get it started. All firmware is updated & there isn’t any internal blockage. Water Box wouldn’t off a return. They just told me to contact the manufacturer.

Possibly the the best compact wavemaker...

I am using the the AI Nero 3 for a 40 gallon breeder tank overstocked with African cichlids. Pros: 1) Very compact in tank device 2) Very quiet compared to other wavemakers I've owned 3) Excellent variable flow range and high maximum output 4) Push button control is a very nice feature Cons: 1) Expensive (but worth it) 2) It uses bluetooth not wireless 3) Fish/Life guard is a bit loose maybe by design, I just left it off
