What is Blue Friday?
Blue Friday is an annual event created by Waterbox Aquariums dedicated to education and growth of the hobby, one aquarium at a time. The Waterbox team goes LIVE on YouTube all day from 12PM to 6 PM EST to provide education, sales and giveaways.
What are the Blue Friday promotions and discounts?
Tune in Friday, November 6th at 12PM EST for the announcement of all sales, special promotions and giveaways for this year’s Blue Friday event.
How long does Blue Friday last
We will be live streaming on YouTube all day Friday, November 6th from 12 PM EST to 6 PM EST. The sales and discounts will be active on WaterboxAquariums.com in the US & Canada from 12 PM EST on November 6th through MIDNIGHT EST on Monday, November 16th.
How do I enter the giveaways and how will I know if I’ve won?
You can enter the giveaway starting at the top of the hour when the stream begins. The giveaway entry form is only open for the first 30 minutes of each livestream. Winners will be announced at the end of each stream once randomly selected by ViralSweep. If are you selected as a gift card winner, an e-gift card will be sent out to the email which was used for the entry. Please allow up to 2 hours after the announcement to receive your gift card via email.
When and where will the Giveaway winners be announced?
Giveaways will be announced in each stream, beginning at 12 PM EST on Friday, November 6th. Most streams will have multiple giveaways with multiple chances to win. Stay tuned throughout the day and you could be chosen as a winner. All winners will be announced LIVE.
Is a discount code needed at checkout?
No discount code is needed. All sale pricing and discounts will be reflected on the product pages and in the cart at checkout.
Can I use financing on Blue Friday?
Yes! You can take advantage of our financing options anytime. We encourage you to get preapproval prior to Blue Friday at https://waterboxaquariums.com/pages/financing. We have installment options up to 36 months as well as split payment options, which allows you to break your total into four equal payments over time.
Can I use a Gift Card on Blue Friday?
Yes, a Gift Card can be used as a payment method to checkout on Blue Friday.
If I purchase my aquarium on Blue Friday, what lead time is expected?
Currently we are expecting all Blue Friday orders to ship within 4-6 weeks. All orders will be filled in the order which they were received. It is always our goal to get your aquarium shipped and to your home as quickly as possible.
If I missed the sale, can I still get the discount?
The sale price is only available during the sale -- 12 PM EST on Friday, November 6th through 12 MIDNIGHT EST on Monday, November 16th. No promotional pricing or discounts will be honored once the sale has ended, or on orders purchased prior to the start of the sale. For more information see our Price Match Policy.
Can I take advantage of the Blue Friday sale at my LFS?
Some of our Certified Retail Partners throughout the US and Canada will be participating in the Blue Friday sale event. Please contact your local retailer to confirm their participation and discounts offered.
If my order has not shipped yet, can I take advantage of the Blue Friday Sale?
The sale price is only available during the sale. Orders placed prior to, or after the close of the sale, are not eligible for the sale price. If you have an order that has not yet shipped, you may contact our Customer Success team to cancel your order and then repurchase during the sale period. However, cancellation of your order will cause you to lose your place in the queue. Due to extremely high order volume during Blue Friday, lead times may be up to 8 weeks out.
